2009 Season
WestVic is enjoying a great start to the season with all four teams well-positioned to challenge for a finals berth later in the season.
Approaching the half-way point, both of WestVic’s junior teams are undefeated and sit clear on top of their respective ladders. Kate Ryan leads the goal-scoring for the Under 17 Girls and the team is yet to concede a goal. Jake Laidlaw has the most goals in the Under 17 Boys competition with 10 in 7 games.
The Men’s team sit in the top-four, but the competition is extremely tight with the top-5 teams all having registered 5 wins. Tom Walton is the leading goal-scorer and the team has conceded the second-fewest goals so far.
The Women are third on the ladder but as with the Men it is close, with a number of teams on similar points. Ebony Stephen has 6 goals to lead Tammy Hansford by 1.
There are Saturday double-header home-games coming-up on June 20 and June 27 for the Men (2pm) and Women (3.30pm). Get along and support the teams as they attempt to consolidate their ladder positions.
